Okonogi is the culpri. He gets arrested for a bit then starts working with the Ushiromiya group, specifically Eva and Hideyoshi. After arranging for the deaths of the entire family (except Eva) he then sleeps with Eva and takes over the whole company and becomes chairman. He arranges for the assasiniation of the sole remaining fat Ushiromiya Ange. No one cares.
Later, after many shenanigans, he joins the army again and becomes immortal. His last known whereabouts in the future has him beating up a Canadian girl.
