People do realize that money high earners make goes back into the company and raises the ceiling for other livers right? Like the company wouldn't branched out on more out there projects like Nachume's book deal if they weren't comfortable, and high earners bring a sense of security to investors and sponsors (as stupid as shit as they are) which also ups the comfort of your favorite livers. You can see it with EN, the number of ventures they've been able to take up since Luxiem exploded has gone up, they can afford to make shit like birthday merch now.
It's not so black and white as "waaaaah management is focusing on Kuzuha so no one else is getting anything" like that's just plain bad faith. This is the kind of business that thrives in investing in its own talent.

Now that's just not entirely true. I don't like the idol shit either, but I would hardly call Iinchou, Deron, Rain Drops and Kazaki idols. Trinity are on the borderline since their concept is a little raunchy but there are idols like that too I guess, only Petit Fleurs and ROFMAO are really idols at least how I see it. Chronoir have always steered the direction of music for a while anyway. If they completely abandoned people who aren't singers or have no interest in this kind of stuff then sure, maybe a while ago I would have agreed, but they seem genuinely interested in cultivating other talents (such as Nachume's novel for example). I feel like since Edengumi's debut they've been way more smart about promoting members in general.
I think the reason they pivot to music a lot because 1. a lot of the livers are genuinely interested in a record deal 2. they have the talent 3. the easiest way to draw audiences with 3D stuff is song and dance (for now)
Variety stuff COULD catch on much bigger. Levergacha and the like aren't hurting at all, but it probably takes way more planning to do a show on a regular basis than to have a bombastic concert performance once in a while. That is how I see it at least. But many of the upcoming 3Ds are livers big on entertaining like, Gwelu. So who knows.

(Still... I'm sad such funny people like Ago and Fuwacchi are wasted on something as vapid as ROFMAO when the unit easily could have just been all variety with a few single releases if they want)

Considering Kadokawa pumps out so many adaptations of stuff with barely two or three volumes, it has a chance. Though honestly the rate Kadokawa pumps these kind of anime adaptations out feels like money laundering and those novels usually end up getting tossed after for not meeting post-anime expectations, I hope Nachume doesn't get screwed like that.
