I fuckn hate people who use AI, i don't mind the technology but the assholes who use it. i'm not making money on my art, but art as a skill is highly required for my stuff, here these AI tards are making money from prompting and anybody can do that. WTF. so it feels like these other asses are just being lazy and i have to do all the work myself. in the end i will remain victorious as people will praise me for doing it all myself. and i can rub it in their faces when i become popular and successful.

Small update:
That denim needle was a HUGE improvement! Regular needle (even a brand new one) is simply dull in comparison. Definitely get one if you're planning to follow my steps. My machine can now fairly easily make sketchbooks with 32 pages (16 sheets sewn together, upper pic) and a thicker cover; I could probably make them even thicker, but there really is no need, I want to play it safe. While I was at it I also got stronger thread (for sewing leather), but I'm not planning to stress-test my sketchbooks.

Well, drawing in a sketchbook that's dirty cheap is pretty relaxing, there's no stress associated with "ruining" it and that's really nice :)
That being said the way I added the cover and joined the booklets together turned out to be very amateurish, not very durable, see bottom of pic related. In the future I'll learn a better way to do it for sure. But for now I'll be sticking to smaller, 1 section booklets, that don't need an additional cover. I'd do it even if I didn't run into any issues, as they're faster to make and I really liked the idea someone mentioned in this thread of having smaller sketchbooks, but for very specific topics.

I've stopped posting my artwork and don't care about being twitter famous anymore.

I used to have no shame and didn't care if people thought that my art was beg or shitty.

That motivated me to get better and so did the positive reinforcement from others.

My distain towards popular and trending things increased while so did my passion.

Now i'm on 4chan throwing my shit because the attention was cringe. same for being popular.
