Well I dug into my hard drive and found a thing to re-draw. It is an old drawing so I am pretty pleased with the re-drawn result. 4-5 hrs continuous.

try to switch it up a bit. cool light warm shadows. Dark red shadows would be nice with that complimentary green. Also all the parts seem to be lit equally. think about how the light wraps around a cylinder or a sphere.

still lives to understand how light, material and colors work. Life drawing to understand how the body works. Never draw/paint mindlessly, constantly be critical about what you see, what you do. Going to museum, looking at artists you like, experimenting to find good compositions. Living and exciting and culturally exciting life to say something valuable and interesting in your art.
