How come my tumblr page is so fucked up? My images always get resized and i don't have that popup with dim everyone's using (clicking on images does nothing). Seriously considering starting a new account if I can't resolve it.

OP is bad not because he's unfamiliar with realistic anatomy, but because his kawaii proportions are not there yet. Yes, anime is simplified from reality, but it stands on its own. For example, you could say that a cucumber is a very simplified penis, but the two are independant from each other and serve different purposes. Get vilppu to draw anime, he will get gesture right, but the face? I don't think so, thus proving my point. I'm not even sure he can draw attractive women

a lot more hard work goes into the production of anime than manga. a lot more people sweating over frames, background artists, voice actors and sound effects and music writers, songwriters, designers, marketing team, etc.
if comparing solely by static artwork, most manga wins by popularity vote, but there are more elements in anime that manga doesn't have.
