Not so sure how people here would help since I never heard of anyone here wanting to pay for a commission, but anyway...

Hmm... I had 200 followers and people started asking for commissions. I have about 300 now. I'm not doing commissions yet because I want to figure some things out and settle with a better workflow/style.
What I don't know is how much people are willing to pay for my work. :V

Most of my close friends known, for now. I ended up single before I started drawing porn, so there is no girl that know it yet, but most girls I know wont care at all, I guess.

My family don't know, but I'm not making money off of it yet.

Anyway I actually think it's kinda funny to pull that fact at a party or something. lol

That was exactly what I said. Are you stupid?

>>1916473

Sorry, I didn't saw your post. Something like this... It's just scribbles because I tried to do it as fast as I could, but I think you got the idea. I think it's a good exercise also for abstraction, you can came up with cool compositions if you put enough tough into it. Don't do too extreme perspectives if you're going to try for the first time, it's harder than it looks. Also, defining some values might help block out shapes and form ideas.

Hes is trolling and people are falling for it. Nobody is that stupid to don't understand that a freelance job is still a job.

Although I mistook him for Maciej, looking at his works I still think he has the skills and knows how to make money, and that's good for him.

My bad, I actually mistook him for Maciej Kuciara. They're nothing alike. lol

With paper and pen I can do sketches like those in 15~20 minutes. Probably would fuck up some proportions, but with practice you should be able to do it. With a Cintiq should be easier as you're as fast as with paper and can cut and distort your drawing as you wish.

Looking trough streams at Picarto recently I've seen some good artists selling full painted commissions for 30 dollars. I mean, this is ridiculous pricing even converted to my rates(Brazilian Reais). I think those people that undercharge are hobbyists, that don't expect to live of their commission money, but who knows...

Yes! But just if you don't work well with schedules. With short term objectives you can achieve a lot in the long run.

Even so, if you don't feel like doing an entire day studying composition, switch to something you like. You will learn a lot trying to apply in your own drawings something that you've studied before.

Perspective is maybe the most painful aspect of art to study because it's hard to learn it in a fun way. Something you could try doing is quick thumbnails with big shapes. Grab a sheet of paper, make you horizon line and define the vanishing points. After that you do random squares like in a comic book page. In those squares you try to imagine a simple scene/environment using the same perspective guides you already did, applying to all of them.

Try using markers or, if digital, big square brushes and limit you values.

I don't think he should stick to a schedule if he is not the type of person who does that and are organized enough. Most of the times I've heard of people trying to do crazy study schedules like Dave Rapoza did, they ended up burnt out, including myself.
What I think he should do, if hes not the type that can keep up to a schedule, is to still make themes to study daily and actually studying, but not to the point of feeling bad... Grinding too much only work for people who are obsessed/extremely focused.(I know you kinda said the same)

Also, don't draw what you don't want because you feel like you have to know that. Most of the time you can apply the knowledge of something you studied in a theme you're comfortable with. I mean, you don't have to draw mechanical things if you don't like drawing it. Just make sure you have the basics to a point were you could draw a decent thing if needed.

tl;dr: Don't grind like a madman.

Tried to fix most of the things people criticized in the alternative style thread. At least it's waaay better than the original, I hope so.

Yes, heads do stretch, even when looking up. The intention was to make her face straight looking to the viewer, I guess the nose might be slight up and the teethes more covered as you pointed.

I need to get the habit of viewing my sketches after some hours of a break and flip it/zoom out. I tend to get lost when drawing looking at a monitor. The drawing seems so big compared to the A4/A5 I'm used to draw. Those are mistakes I never do on my sketchbooks, really(at least not this big I mean).

>>1912388

Oh, I see that now. Her hand is too small compared to the fingers, also it should be following the curvature of the boobs.

Her mouth is not up, I don't know where are you seeing that, nothing in it indicates what you're stating. Look at a mirror and open your mouth and put your tongue outside, them comment again.

It's supposed to be cross-eyed, shes looking at the cum. I thought that was pretty obvious. Now.. what's the problem with her face? Heads do stretch when we open our mouths this wide, I don't get it, maybe I can't see because I looked too much at it? Indicate what you're criticizing.

Wanted to try mixing a more realistic rendering and anime like some artists do... Not really satisfied with the end results, my linework was too sharp and it take much longer than I expected to finish painting. Anyway here it is.

He had an edge and was able to translate the Hogarth book in his studies. Not all beginners would understand how to properly use the Hogarth's anatomy.

His digital lines are really normal, but the design and form of his characters are fantastic... He can turn old, overly used concepts in something interesting, and that's a hard thing to do nowadays.

It's funny thou that he probably never did life drawing sessions and still can put a lot of energy in his drawings. Just one more fact proving that the traditional ways of learning how to draw aren't rules.

Yeah... Pretty much this. I prefer Proko because his videos aren't so boring and the production is good, he also mix a lot of different approaches which is good.
