What are the stages of pre-drawing? I'm interested in everything from initial idea to the point just before pencil touches the paper. Most curious if artists refine their ideas in words beforehand. Thanks

I thought for sure they were talking about the skin underneath the helmet, but whatever.
I just think it's cute. Reminds me of those "sexy futuristic" costumes only it's a jumpsuit instead of a dress.
