What kind of blog do you think is better?
I've already made a tumblr http://libarti.tumblr.com/ but it's kind of gay, maybe I should also make a sister blogspot?

Here they are.
I was kind of pissed because you have to look really hard for a lot of books. Some nice anons have uploaded them here but it's a bore having to look through the whole archive.
Even if this is mostly something for me I wanted to share it with you because /ic/ is actually pretty cool.

>> No.1785011

Kind of a weird mention, but something that genuinely helped me was doing pages from an anatomy colouring book. I'm having one shipped to me for a friend and I'd be glad to scan it in before I hand it off if you can't find one and it sounds like something you'd like to include.

Do you have the name? I might be able to find it or I might already have it.

And I'm trying to get the whole Gottfried Bammes collection but I only have 4 so far:
The Artist's Guide to Animal Anatomy
The Artist's Guide to Human Anatomy
Der Nackte Mensch
Wir Zeichnen Den Menschen

The last two are really, really long, over 900 pages together but I was wondering if they were available in english.

Most likely next week or the other. I have archive many sites which let me upload multiple files at once. I'll most likely go over capacity on most. I wanted to set up a ftp server but my abilities are beyond it.

Err, it's a little more broad. Sorry, by "colouring book" I don't mean book on how to colour but rather, y'know.. Colouring book. Crayons in the lines. They're usually used by med students to learn proper anatomy, but they're a great supplemental to learn muscle groups and how they interact.

Not all of them, only the useful ones. I think I only got around 70 or so from that site. I have yet to scan some I own, I have really old books that belonged to my grandfather when he was an ambassador, he was given lots of books on foreign culture arts.

Use photoshop or another computer program to do any editing or cropping if it's needed, then number the pages in order and put them all in a folder. Make the folder into a zip or rar unless OP has a preference.

I have a couple issues of Comickers I could try uploading, I only have one right now but there's two more on the way. I also made scans of some Japanese art books I own but some of them are mediocre looking because I'm not that great at scanning, especially when I first started.

here's pdfs of 'the art of bioshock 2:deco devolution' and 'prepare to board: creating story and characters for animated features and shorts' by nancy beiman. found them elsewhere but you don't seem to have them on the list so here

http://www.mediafire.com/download/mb6464n67h7i7n9/nancy_bergman_prepare_to_board.zip

and the fashion reference books i scanned a while back, 'Fashion In Photographs 1860-1880' and 'Fashion In Photographs 1880-1900' in jpeg format. the best in depth books for those time periods i've read so far. i borrowed them from the library on a whim and according to mr. amazon they're worth a hundred and fifty dollars each, so if anyone's found any other books in the series please scan them and i will somehow figure out how to have sex with you over the internet.

From the intro:
20 ways to draw a tree is a fun and
interactive book designed to help you explore a wide variety of approaches to drawing. It encourages experimentation with media and explores different ways of looking and seeing. Inside
you will find plenty of examples to delight and inspire, and space to add your own creations.

history of english children's clothing 1775-1920

last minute found a series of coloured plates that were better quality versions of some of the book's illustrations, so this is a little frankensteiny. didn't scan the preface bc a great big incriminating library stamp covered it but to be honest you're not missing much.

how pictures work by molly bang

a great book on psychology of shapes/colours. i scanned this with a couple sheets of paper behind each page so the other pages wouldn't overshadow the diagrams, but what was overleaf still shows up. use your imagination, i guess.
