a lot of the courses are also just superfluous and overlapping, there's no cohesion, it's less an academy and more just randos posting videos without talking to each other or having a curriculum

Just five minutes of any of his videos will provide you with more tricks, insights, and shortcuts than you'd gain from 1,000 hours of other resources. He generously shares all his knowledge, unlike others who seem to intentionally hold back valuable techniques.

You get what you put into it. Its a good resource to go from beginner to intermediate. But you have to actually put in the work. You probably wont get to a true master level without direct feedback though. I know someone that did their full program with actual direct feedback / instruction and that person said it was really good and his work is really good. Maybe "low professional" level.

Its also generally a good place to dabble for beginners experimenting with what they really want to focus on since there is such a broad scope of classes. Again, you have to actually put in the work though to get anywhere. There is no program / teacher that will change that fact.
