Never painted before, digital or traditional. Just kinda winging it.
Course recommendations would be appreciated.
My interest is really in drawing and lineart but this seems like a more entertaining way to learn shading.
Also as far as brushes go do people usually use pressure sensitivity or multiple brushes?
I had sensitivity but it made it difficult to line up edges for smooth lines.

Also the perspective is pretty off for the inorganic stuff like the bolts etc. Maybe use construction and a ruler for inorganic objects.

Pay more attention to the overall perspective, especially the background and how the object is a part of it. Keep grinding forms, focus on their accuracy and quality of lines, draw wireframe.

You seem to be overlapping well enough, but from what I can tell, there isn't much shading or perspective.

Don't make the figure looking frontally, this will give it a flat and unnatural appearance
Tilt the head even a little diagonally, it will improve a lot
The same goes for ribcage
The shoulder that is closest to the viewer will move upwards as it is supporting more weight

I can't fucking do it, anons. I want to be able to draw, but as soon as I think about how much work goes into achieving something even remotely acceptable, I get so overwhelmed I can't even force myself to pick up a pencil. I tried doing a dopamine detox several times to force myself to choose between drawing and doing literally nothing, but I failed each time. I honestly don't know what to do with myself at this point, even playing games doesn't feel good anymore, I'm just going through the motions. the head should be in line with the spine, not bent backward to look in front
also the spine should be straight, what that means is different for various people and sometimes it will look a bit bent but here she seems to be bending her ass out a bit too much
