Imagine being so good that everyone thinks you're a machine, what an honor.

Wouldn't it be funny if it were AIbros doing the accusing trying to kill off genuine artists till it's only them left?

I think it's more like...it's probably kinda soulless. Though, had I see this artist beforehand I would feel like their art is very AI inspired, but not drawn by AI. If AI would have done it then everything would be perfect. Very rarely does AI know how to keep some elements unfocused for the sake of the composition.

Also, the boobs are very high.

It feels like a tourist's accusation. They see a single piece of the artist's work, and rather than check their gallery to see how frequently the artist uploads, or the types of variations the artist does, or if the artist has sketches uploaded, or look at the piece your making the accusation on and see if their are AI mistakes in the piece... you just hurl the accusation out there.

AI is pretty easy to distinguish too, particularly when looking at a group of them, so it's the laziest attempt at policing art.

normalfags have been under a barrage by AI pics for 2 years now. they probably got conditioned to think that excessive rendering = AI by the sheer volume of correct positives you get with that equation now.

When there's money to be made, you don't want competition. And since AIbros realized people will pay for their slop it's only a matter of time before artists start getting fucked with big time. Artists have much more to lose too since they rely on their style and brand so if they get chased off it'd be had for them to come back. AIbros on the other hand can simply prompt in whatever style the choose, plus there'll be much more of them compared to artists soon, if there's not already

>> No.7122649

If he is been drawing for more than 6 years, I think it's quite obvious that his art has been used for the database of the AI itself.
So basically it's not his art that looks like AI, but the AI that looks like his art, the same with Sakimichan kek

Incoming ESL circumlocutory.
Your fans are still going to commission and support you BECAUSE you don't use ai. They want a drawing from you, the artist. Ai gets boring because everyone can use it to generate infinite slop. It's nothing special.
Richfags are still spending mad cash to get authentic oil paintings. Don't listen to these cheap fucks who would never spend money on art to begin with. Even with ai, they are still jealous of your skills. Real art will become a luxury in the near future because less and less people will learn how to draw or paint.

I find it weird that so few people seem to be interested in all the future implications. We're at the cusp of every image, video, and voice potentially being fake, but nobody cares? How are people in 100 years supposed to know if old paintings, drawings or even historical photos are genuine?

Maybe it's all oblivious boomers.

This, I suspect there will be more AI art in the future but it is only going to increase the value of human made art. Art without an artist can never be seen as high value because a living person's input is a critical part of an actual art piece and even normies can spot that.

My cope is that it just sort of death spirals and deals with itself, it's not just art that's being generated afterall but all content on the internet ever and the internet (really just social media) is the only real place where something like this can gain a foothold. But realistically even if 99% of everything you looked at on the internet was replaced with bots I don't think most people would actually stop using it, the amount of robot voices I hear coming out of peoples phones is pretty sad. Either way it doesn't change things that much, there was already functionally infinite art that is better than mine and as long as you can prove that you're human theirs probably always going to be some value in that too, at least in my lifetime.

Rather than art I’m more concerned about deepfakes being used for propaganda or to pin fake charges on people. If even fake photo/video/audio ends up being indistinguishable from the real thing, how can you ever believe anything you didn’t see for yourself? AI art is nowhere near the biggest problem and I don’t think it’ll have soul for a long time anyway so who cares. I draw because I enjoy it so it makes no difference to me either way. But our entire way of life is going to change completely in a way no one can predict or prepare for. Feeling threatened by AI that draws better than you is seriously just the tip of the iceberg.

AI/fake accusations will just be the catalyst;
What you need to fear is the court of public opinion.

If retards nowadays are willing to go out their way to fuck with people and spread/parrot misinformation to get clout on social media, what makes one think anyone accused of something would ever get the chance of being found not-guilty?

If AI technologies and image generation software doesn't get restricted, social media or information sharing will with the excuse of safety from enemy states (chinese spies and russian bots, antisemitism, etcetera)
Tiktok is getting banned based on this.

It's only a matter of time until someone generates some controversial political picture that goes viral.
>>7122930
Because the average cattle doesn't, doesn't mean you don't have to care either.
On the other hand, AI is like giving guns to the mentally ill, so matter the applications.
>How are people in 100 years supposed to know if old paintings, drawings or even historical photos are genuine?
They won't care.
The average normie and art consumer only cares about porn, pretty pictures or wow-that-is-so-me media i.e. Kitsch, they do not care about anything else.
This was artist's fault as well, especially the online artists of the last decade flooding the internet with the aforementioned content in pursuit of fame and money, which in return attracted bad actors to try and get a piece of that pie.

Can Artificial Intelligence be useful; sure in the extreme cases where human physical and mental capabilities cannot ever hope to function, such as deep diving, space travel or terraforming hostile planets.
Performing and replacing acts of human expression is the absolute worst way to apply AI, but people don't care because they're low IQ and just want to consume.
