Critique my work. Is it too flat? I've drawn my whole life but never have pursued Art as a career. Growing up with Calvin and Hobbes and Cartoons, art always seemed like it was adults capturing childlike creative energy and putting out that art for free enjoyment. Art is my last escape from reality these days.

The forms and anatomy are quite good. As for flatness, the colors are light but they’re very “true” to a white space. They don’t have much variation, which can make objects seem flatter than they really are. Have you tried experimenting with values or deeper shadows? Backgrounds? There is >>7121227 otherwise it’s effects and voids. Considering backgrounds may help when thinking about different light and shading aspects.
