hello beg i finished this a few days ago. probably not going to do any more work on this but if there's anything i need to work on in general feel free to point it out. what i had the hardest time with were socks and the back of the pants. i still can't find any good references for socks that show what the folds would look like on the underside(?) or at this specific angle and position, but i think i was able to find some good resources to look back to for pants folds at this angle and other back facing angles. picking colours is also difficult. hard to make them look like they're all under the same lighting

I think you’ll make it anon. That head looks very promising but you have a lot of work to do on the body

First, and most importantly when drawing the body, you need to learn basic proportions. This is incredibly disproportionate, but with some practice you’ll get it. Pic rel are proportions you can work with. There are probably better ones online for anime proportions

Secondly a lot of anatomical errors. Study the skeleton and muscle connections in depth. Also do lots of figure drawings from reference and imagination.

It’s also flat. Some shape and form would go a long way.

Lastly, find a style you like and study art in that style; whether that be from a book or a manga, as long as you’re learning.

I dont really know where I'm at with art.
I take massive breaks and then draw for a week straight, I suspect that it might have to do something with my "ADHD" diagnosis but we all know it's not real and just a bunch of goyslop propaganda.
What am I supposed to do to fix this? After keeping a drawing streak I just physically cannot draw.
It's not art block, its not really that I dont have any ideas left but its almost like when you overtrain yourself in the gym.

I am very into architecture, it's become a very recent obsession of mine. I've seen the Frank Ching books namedropped the most so maybe start there, also reading about the history and how architecture developed and among different cultures and time periods.

Put the bottom of the palm of your hand on your chin.
How far up your face does your hand reach , how wide is it compared to your face. Where do the fingers/knuckles end.
Hands can vary in size compared to the head but try and keep it (more or less) there unless the character design warants a comically large hand
