Recently I discovered that I needed complete silence to actually draw with purpose and learn. I always listened to music or a podcast in the background, thinking that drawing was a mindless task. I thought the thing with the animator screaming was a joke or a boomer meme, but honestly working with distractions isnt helping at all for me.

Arguably your brain places higher attentional value on music than it does on art. Consider pivoting into music and learn to play an instrument or compose. Distraction is often just an indicator of one's true hierarchy of values, and if art isn't at the top, it will become less and less rewarding over time.
