I look at my old art I hated from years ago and it's not as bad as I thought. I think you get to int/pro by being quite critical of your work though. hate is pretty strong though, some artists are so dramatic.

I think disliking your art is normal. It can be multiple factors.
>Put your love and soul into a piece, only for it to not to even reach the vision you imagined.
>The headspace you were in while creating that piece could be a really cringey place in hindsight.
>Your critical eye developed way ahead of your technical skill so you can see the problems and edit them but can't truly fix them.
All in all it's a sign of wanting to improve, or just embracing the cringe.

I don't hate my art. I only hate how it could be better because my main drawing time is at work which leads to rushed drawings and to sometimes bad decisions.

Looked this up, apparantly it's normal because upside down it both looks different enough for your brain to stop recognising the original image and it's harder for your brain to notice all the mistakes. Flipping it horizontally is the only thing you should be doing since it erases your biases to your own work.
