>drawing nude characters is easier than drawing clothed ones
My artist friend said this and a lot of people agreed with him. What's up with that? For me its the complete opposite, clothing gives me more freedom and allows me to get away with anatomy errors

clothing folds
if you can draw clothes properly and detailed it's harder to do

>allows me to get away with anatomy errors

I literally can't clothe my whores until their anatomy is impeccable because the folds in fabric and the way things like accessories or plate carriers fit highlight any mistake, teach me your unholy ways

It's a matter of what you drew the most.

Many people will say that feet are harder than hands, but that's just because you happen to draw more hands than feet.

There are no 3D engines that can believably render drapery. The ability to come up with appealing shapes and folds on the fly is a good sign, OP. You are GMI.
