I have literally tried doing several artistic hobbies
and gave up each of them immediately when I was a teenager.

I didn't know how any of them worked or what to

Those are softwares. If you don't know anything about them, start with Ctrl+Paint guides, which it will show how to use Photoshop (and later you can apply the same things with most softwares)

You have actually come to a place where people can point you in the right direction

your brain developement is nearly complete with a lot of plasticity left which means what 15 Year olds find difficult to learn will likely be easy for you

Teh Sticky will serve you well if you have never drawn before

You can make leaps and bounds in a short time, however, there are a lot of leaps and bounds to make before pro level but even INTs can find an oddjob here or there if that is your thing. If you learn thinfs right you will see progress.

You will likely need to at least have touched most if not all fundies and specialise in some to get a very good FINISHED piece done. (Black and white pics obviously do not need colour theory and landscapes obviously do not need human proportions)

HYPERrealism will take more time then anime waifu action poses in a semi detailed space but both will take time.

If you want to aproximate time needed: kentaro miura was about 22 when he made "Berzerk Prototype". He started drawing early but kids learn complex skills slower then young adults.
Try and draw something and post it (phone, snap a pic, crop picture, post it) it cant be worse then

There are many FREE resources. Ask around/ look it up, search by what you want to draw / fundies you want to learn:
If drawing humans I recommend construction first and gesture second. Then move on to "some anatomy" which will improve your understanding of gesture.
It will take anywhere from 2 to 10 years or even never (depending on goaLs , talent, learning plan, ecc.)
