Credit where credit is due; OP actually posted his work

I like art like this because they worked hard and poured their heart into it. It took 110% of their effort to make and has a story of pain and triump in every stroke. This is better than any random booby drawing done in 30 minutes without a care in the world. I want to know why her eyes are purple, why the other girl threw her up in the air, what the dragon's doing. There's SOUL here.

This is true for other sites, but Twitter?
>>6974860
This is true. Unless some big account happens to dig up and adequately boost your original tweet, as in quotes it and not just a retweet (though that can help), you pretty much know how a tweet is going to go quite quickly. It's why building am initial following on Twitter is so heavily reliant on frequent posting, gotta keep rolling that dice.

>post several draws of various themes
>they do less than 20 likes, very few RTs but people seem to comment on some of them
>post FotM stuff
>it does +500 likes and +100 RTs, lots of engagement and followers
>post a random doodle
>it does... 60 likes, 10 RTs and lots of comments
>posts are still making numbers
>get new roughly 40 new follows in the span of a week and a very lively account.
>People DM me saying nice sfuff about my art
Not bad, not bad...

[update]
I deleted it after about 12 hours, it had 3 impressions. I reuploaded it this morning, 20 minutes afterwards it had 13 impressions, got home from work and it has over 300 now, with almost 20 likes and a few retweets. My current theory is that putting youtube links in your tweet fucks it to the point where your followers dont see it and it doesnt even appear for most people in hashtags considering I have a bunch of people who like literally everything I put out and somehow none of them interacted with the other tweet.
