I have a ton of trouble finishing pieces, i've made threads and posts about this. I usually just end up deleting nearly everything I do within the first 5 minutes and it never gets beyond that.
I've come to the understanding that this is probably due to me having no goals when I draw which results in me just scribbling nonsense for 3 straight hours while being distracted by youtube videos and music and other shit.

So I came up with this idea during breakfast.
Give me a prompt in the same manner that you would commission an artist and i'll try to complete it within at most 3 days. Just nothing outright pornographic or fetishistic.
After i'm done, I'll post it and you can say if it's shit or not and how much money you would pay for it.
I will force myself to finish it so it probably wont be my finest work but at least i'll be practicing finishing things which is a step I never get to.
I'll try and do these until the thread expires and hopefully i'll have improved somewhat.
I'm away from my computer now but I'll start work on them when I get home later.
This is me biting the bullet, because i'm tired of not being able to finish things and I also want to get paid eventually.

Oh, and other anons are free to participate if they're having the same trouble as me. Just try and differentiate yourselves from me so the feedback doesn't get muddled

I don't really expect any of these to be done today so I'll try and upload a few WIPs at the end of the day to keep the thread a bit more alive.

Not bad for less than an hour. I intend on treating these like real commissions just to get me in the mindset. Wish me luck, i just got back and will begin work on them in a bit

She deserved it.
r "the lucky stars of the slaughterer," a reference to ritual sacrifices performed by ancient Arabs at the heliacal rising of Capricornus
In ancient Mesopotamia, Antares may have been known by various names: Urbat, Bilu-sha-ziri ("the Lord of the Seed"), Kak-shisa ("the Creator of Prosperity"), Dar Lugal ("The King"), Masu Sar ("the Hero and the King"), and Kakkab Bir ("the Vermilion Star").[14] In ancient Egypt, Antares represented the scorpion goddess Serket (and was the symbol of Isis in the pyramidal ceremonies).[14] It was called tms n hntt "the red one of the prow".
In Greek Mythology, the symbol of the ram is based on the Chrysomallus, the flying ram that rescued Phrixus and Helle, the children of the Boeotian king Athamas and provided the Golden Fleece. There is no link between Aries and Ares, the god of war, often pictured with a vulture and whose origin stems from ἀρή (arē), the Ionic form of the Doric ἀρά (ara), "bane, ruin, curse, imprecation"
In traditional Chinese astronomy, stars from Aries were used in several constellations. The brightest stars—Alpha, Beta, and Gamma Arietis—formed a constellation called Lou (婁), variously translated as "bond", "lasso", and "sickle", which was associated with the ritual sacrifice of cattle.

Well that's all of that I'm going to work on today.
I don't know if this thing being the first piece I've nearly finished in over a year is something to be proud or ashamed of.

This could work. The face is cool. get some ref. cloaks/rifles/knives/hands/poses etc. put him in-front of a bombed out building. add some storytelling, like maybe bits of an exploded creature strewn about.

Oh hey thanks, I'm just trying to keep myself accountable so I went to the place that I expected the most severe verbal castigation if I didn't stick to my word.
I'll try and have one of them finished tomorrow
>>6976242
I honestly didn't think i'd bring it beyond that and I really have no experience with backgrounds so it would be a good experiment piece.
