that would be good if the artist understood the slightest thing about line weight.

Lol that makes me remember when I was first drawing I used line weight as a "crutch" but then realized it was an actual thing artists do.

i don't really think my lineart is particularly good. as >>6952065 said, other people complimented me on it before and that's why i posted. i mostly Just Draw, but i try to make it as expresssive and spontaneous as possible because i think that's one of the things that makes lineart good. it all depends on the style you're drawing and what you're trying to do with it tho.

That's one reason I asked the question: it seems things were appreciated more emotionally than rationally. It may be flattering, but that's not always helpful to get better

It's not really lineart anymore, more line-based, but there are great old school trad inkers who have a marvelous handling of line: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viPQZKqyi7Q

The kids are fucked. You’d think a person who’s had an ipad in his hand since before he could walk would know how to interface with it. You’ll improve faster if you stop being a luddite. Also im in my mid 20s

its the worlds largest knowledge base, but its not going to find something you MIGHT be interested in, its only going to give you exactly what you ask it too. which is why i said its tasteless in a sense that it doesnt have a mind of its own.
Youre better off going to one of those free comic/manga sites browsing comics to find different inking styles, or any other site specializing in the arts, ya dingus.

not to mention people here develope their own tastes that you wouldnt know to put into a search bar. youd know this if you werent an autist shitting on human interaction.
also, im 36, i was yanking your chain.

Look up uncolored coloring book art and animation art from model sheets. You'll find plenty to work with there.
