She has some office job but still looking for illustration work and also divorced the dude she married that she met from FZD (after having a kid with him). I hate judging other people's work but looking at her IG now it's just not to an industry standard, both in 2015 and today.

I just started this, pretty nice https://www.theartnest.academy/freecourse
It is step-by-step but he mostly lists books, courses and youtube playlists you should study and in what order. He gives for some of them like an approximation on how long you should be studying it for but your on your own with timing yourself and planning out the studying and work

>>6950905
If you're willing to pay to learn then Schoolism seems ok but Brainstorm, and CGMA are really good since they have structured pathways to specializations.
Only issue with online education for art is that you lack networking which is extremely important if you want to land a job in the art industry otherwise if it's for fun or a hobby then go wild.

His approach to design is outdated, too derivative and bland
There's a lot to learn in his videos but you have to know where to avoid listening to him or he'll rip the soul out of your body like you can see here >>6951367

The work ethic he tells people to follow is good though, idk where people got this "Draw 12 hours a day" meme when he clearly advises to make around 3 studies a day which is manageable in around 4-5 hours

heres a tyger

this course has one that's pretty nice with people grinding - from there I learned the obvious: Go to the famous good art educators and join their discords they usually have them. I joined DPS by hardy Fowler theres daily studies and feedbacks all that jazz

>> No.6954925

>>6954903
i don't really know about a standard but i can kinda see that the industry will need more "Weird" in the next years, like the most frequent request i get in concept art work is along the lines of "Make something new", "Make something weird", "Make something that has never been seen before"
People are fed up with merc.wip stuff and big name AAA companies are starting to notice
at least i hope so
