Drawabox is a decent free online course to give you a basic idea of what you need to improve, but really any book or course will work fine as long as you actually draw with it and commit.

I believe the keyword is fear, i have fear of drawing backgrounds and and im terrified simply by the idea of painting. I know that this sounds dumb, but it's really a problem that i've been working to fix step by step through heavy studying.
Another thing is that i've been having difficult is actually finishing drawings, and i completely hate doing digital compared to traditional art, because it's much less intuitive to me, but i also been working on that, forcing myself to study more on this medium.
This one is a study that i did where i did a simple shading using painting tools, i know this sounds like cheating since it's fucking Twelve, but my general strategy is little by little doing riskier things to fight my art insecurities more naturally, so working on different tones of white and complete ignoring other painting shit sounded appropriate.

My most recent piece I've done, a inspired piece from "The Two-Thousand Yard Stare"

I'm quite happy with how it came out comparing it to my other works, especially the shading on Pomni's face, but still feel like I got a lot of work to do on shading as can be seen on the tank, some of the trees, Kinger, and I'm not happy with the right smoke cloud, just generally how the cloud is.

This is my 5th piece I've with a new brush I found, it inspired me do draw more so I'm using it for at minimum 90% of the prosses, including straight shading with dark colours on the same layer, no air brushes with effects or anything. I should really have other brushes/effects with the brush, but I enjoy using too much to do so.

Im trying my best to wrap my head around the various ways to actually draw a person, but its difficult. I think I sometimes have trouble visualizing what shapes make up and the flow of my references, as well as how to translate that to what I want to draw. I know my muscle control is lacking too, I am not really consistent with my work.
Been trying to work on getting the hang of Loomis heads, since that seems like an alright starting place. I sure as shit wont hate any advice though
