How do I render like picrel? I'm trying to sit down and study the image (just like /ic/ tells me to) but have no idea what the fuck is going on. I'm trying to recreate the brush strokes used in this but everything I'm doing looks nothing like his even when colorpicking a stroke and putting it next to his looks different. Is he using some sort of special brush or something?

>inb4 you can't make a thread for a stupid question like this!!!!!!! (we need more room for our ai threads)
I tried to ask in threads before but was just ignored

>inb4 brushes don't matter!!!
It fucking does. I tried all of the csp defaults and my strokes look nothing like his even when color picking.

probably just different pressure curves?

Maybe Kemono isn't so bad after all...

Thank you. But what do I do about the strokes looking different? His look softer than mine even when colorpicking

It's 100 times better than generic blond hair anime girl#100011010

it's just hard round and perlin noise

I used the hard round (Watercolor brush with edges and texture turned off) for some of the strokes on the left and they don't look anything alike.

watercolor brushes have texture, your reference does not. use the g-pen

Probably a different type of brush with
a fluffy effect with opacity by pressure and the area around the highlight with airbrush plus filter maybe and compression artifacts

I tried perlin noise in this attempt

>>6937673
I tried gpen with pressure opacity to make a "fluffy gpen"

Although this isn't exact this is way farther then I would have got on my own. I appreciate it ty

I will bump for you. Have you tried the lab color slider in csp for the colors. Also have you tried a lighter pressure curve? Having 100% getting needle thin.

Try jpeg artifacting
Try adding a noise filter over your finished drawing
Try adding a darken / lighten layer over the finished drawing and making subtle adjustments
Try adding a paper texture overlay at low opacity
Grind 2500 boxes with ballpoint pen
Remember to eat your fruit of the Loomis

Maybe keep the gpen at default and keep the overall pressure curve lighter with a 100% needle thin size
