It's mostly a pose thing. Her knees are on the wrong side if she's pre-strike and her arms are too straight for post-strike. Also while there are swords that look like that the handle typically isn't that long especially at the angle you had it at before. Either (fore)shorten the handle or make the sword longer like I did here. Also look up cricket or baseball batters in addition to HEMA. Their poses translate well to swordplay illustrations.

The sun is not enough, you need a lamp shining directly at it for photos. Adjust the settings on your camera has the temperature right (ie. the paper doesn't look blue or yellow). If you don't know what exposure is, look it up or play with the settings. If that's not enough, adjust the contrast in your preferred drawing app.

Gelbooru forbids posting Fanbox/paywalled content whereas Sankaku doesn't, but Sankaku is REALLY fucking gay because
1. You can't browse the booru with an adblocker on or else you'll constnatly be bombarded with a message about it, and if you open multiple tabs before closing it, the new tabs will quickly redirect to a basically blank page on Sankaku and you can't even refresh or press back to see what it was that you wanted to fap to.
2. Severely limited search limits on sankaku for free accounts (gelbooru lets you use as many tags as you want, sankaku limits you to up to two NSFW tags and three tags maximum)
3. Sankaku removed the source link to all images, so you have to hope there's an entry for the artist's tag that links to their Pixiv/socials
4. Sankaku images will usually expire after about an hour of viewing, so if you accidentally leave the tab up or whatever or view only that image, it'll expire and the image will be replaced by the website banner or whatever.
5. Site sometimes shits itself and images/videos/thumbnails will sometimes become permanently fucked and unavailable.

Forgot to mention, the biggest redpill about booru sites is that a large chunk of art simply never gets uploaded to them because they're entirely reliant on users uploading art to them in the first place. There's a ton of art that's only ever uploaded to Twitter or Misskey or Baraag or whatever that fall through the cracks because the people uploading to the website are either mostly not interested in those characters or their franchise. Additionally, the quality assurance for images is pretty shit. You have the issue of uploaders posting shitty, low-res, inferior versions of an artist's work because they're getting them from third-party websites that themselves scalp exhentai or something and only ever download the 1720px version of the images. Case in point: the majority of musouduki's images on gelbooru. Compare the quality of those images on gelbooru to the Fanbox gallery on exhentai. And most of all, you're entirely dependent on the uploader to include the source link for the images and tagging the images as best as they can, which some simply fail or refuse to do.

Can I get some help.

I can't render clean.
I looked up videos and people use brushes to color, but when I do it, I get weird striations, where you can see each brush stroke instead of it being neat.
Even an anon here who tried helping me, I tried copying their settings for a felt pen, but i still get the same weird overlap dark spot striations.

I've used multiple tablets and get the same thing, so i assume the problem is me, how am I supposed render properly, I'm using the default bushes too.

I tried playing the the pen pressure settings and drew normally like they asked and get this, I didn't adjust this but this is what i get drawing normally. It tried pressing harder but i get scratches on my screen

Feel like the torso lacks volume and maybe you could push the arch in the back and perspective a bit more which would make the torso look shorter from the foreshortening.
