In this case the hair is sticking out haphazardly like quills rather than following the spherical shape of the head. Additionally it's difficult to stick the tongue out that much from that angle while keeping the mouth closed. Can't give a proper red line without access to my tablet, but I hope this redraw demonstrates what I meant.
