So. I am...intelectually challenged, plus I have aphantasia and stereoblidness. So of course my masochistic ass decided to torture myself by learnig art, howeveI am not smart enough to understand the reference materials and books provided by this board.

Can you recommend me books, videos, workbooks, well, any material that really really really dumb down art fundamentals like perspective, anatomy, color theory etc.? Are there books about these topics meant for people with intellectual disability? Is there a book or tutorial you find laughably easy? Please let me know. I am complete beginner, working with pencil and maybe ink or ballpoint pen.

Cant wait for OP to reply to posts with advice where he shows how all the resources definitely helped. Bet he totally won't triple down on how he's actually just retarded and can't into art and needs things to be broken down into even simpler terms

Aphantasia isn't real, what you probably have is downs syndrome.

You can still learn to draw even if you are retarded, just learn the fundies you will be ok bro

>stereoblidness
apparently that's beneficial, apparently all the greats could only see 2 dimensionally

nicolaides is like the hegel of art instruction. it will take you years of study and at the end you still won't understand everything

>perspective
just draw surroundings. it will click. different types used in art including intuitive ones like fish eye and other camera distortions. 10 minute drawing tutorials by moatdd.
>anatomy
learn the basic muscles. even grey's anatomy is fine. copy a human figure. then look at illustrations for what you're having problem with. do the part you're having problem with again with fresh knowledge. rinse an repeat. it works better when you're focusing on something that you particularly have a problem with rather than speed running a course.
>color theory
not really a fundamental. just wing it. full of made up rules that teachers swear you have to do even though most of painting's history didn't do them

Colour theory is very over-hyped as a fundie desu. It's like, the last thing you should be worrying about as a noob. Value is much more important.

The creator of the course, too, has aphantasia, so this should be a perfect fit.
You can find out about the course and the creator from one of Proko's video about aphantasia.
