I draw hands all the time actually. When I don't show hands/ feet it isn't because I lack confidence, some poses just don't show them. Though the reason why I don't draw feet (and hands to an extent) as much as I should is because the characters I've liked for years now either have very stylized feet that are basically stumps or no hands/feet at all.

The colors are dull and not appealing (minus the background, I think it has really nice colors)
The faces, frankly, have nigger noses

I think you should pick a palette based off of an artist who has good colors and experiment with those, also pick some art with facial anatomy you like and put it at 30% in one layer and study the proportions on the art
Imposing a face you drew over another piece of art and studying the differences in proportions would also be a good idea

Appeal will increase naturally as you get better at anatomy, composition, and rendering. I think right now what’s bringing down your appeal is largely related to skill level. Your rendering does not add much to the figure. The linework on the faces is very harsh and doesnt have much variance in line weight. Outlines are complex but the actual drawing feels (especially on the fish woman) very stiff and flat.

But there are other elements to it, which are best learned (imo) from observing the stylization choices of artists you think have high appeal. Honestly just having good taste in color and composition can carry a piece much further than raw fundies

It means that heavily stylized drawings like these can't be used to rate your skills. Simple as that.
They are the equivalent of the mickey mouse face people learned to copy and draw on the sides of notebooks.
The -correct- proportions, perspective, etc. can be dismissed because they are hidden underneath the stylization.
The only thing that can be commented on, as I said, is the lineart which isn't smooth and drawn in one stroke, but instead is "sculpted", which shows that you aren't confident with your strokes.
Unless you are doing that on purpose. Though the problem is that it doesn't come across as voluntary.

Well it isn't finished, first of all. Your lineart is very clean and smooth, but also somewhat stale and methodical. There's no shading. There's no texture. The background is rough, which clashes with the minimal, clean subject. The characters are floating around with no presence. Your character designs include fantastical elements like gradiating to a bright color for the scales and hair, which clashes with your flat-color rendering. There's no story being told, despite the fact that this is clearly a narrative composition. The piece lacks direction, which should be easy to establish with the one girl pulling on the other. She should either be pulling slightly into the foreground or the background, instead of the movement being ambiguously 'sideways'. Some kind of contour needs to be represented, either with lineart/hatching, or with shading. The wing looks flat, instead of projecting behind her into space.

Symbolically these characters are unappealing, as mean, dangerous dragons which would probably bite you, which are in the guise of harmless girls. The art has no message that they are dangerous, so it seems like the art itself is unaware of how we would feel about the girls, and trying to present them as people we would want to be friends with. I don't want to be friends with them, they would probably bite me and then make fun of me for bleeding. If the art specifically highlighted the duality of being cute girls and dangerous lizards, like showing the sorrow of being unable to effortlessly connect with others, or showing the poison in their gaze as they size you up to eat you, that would speak to the audience a lot more. But "I'm quirky, I would bite you" is not something anyone wants to see.
