What is the most fun part of drawing for you? For me, it's seeing myself get better.

If you're having fun that means you're being complacent, lazy, stagnant.
Anyone drawing 'for fun' are permadoodlers that will NEVER achieve anything serious.
They're amateurs that MAYBE will impress clueless normalfags, but REAL artisans know doodlers are lower than shitstains.

i like doing it because art to me is just another way to communicate and express myself and my ideas, and no matter how much or how little i improve in terms of objectivity, i enjoy the practice of understanding my own thoughts and ideas better.

You're the kind of fuck that would prrsent that argument without irony

For me, it's the rewarding feeling of successfully depicting a female character I like getting railed by a fat ugly bastard in the worst way imaginable.

>> No.6785774

I'm having fun being a low beg rn. The real fun will begin once I'm able to produce epic drawings of muscular men doing all sorts of manly things such as forging a weapon, killing a lion with bare hands or cutting down a tree with a good ol axe.

>> No.6785810

>>6785774
Wouldn't you rather be capable of doing that in real life? I used to think like this but realised that it was just cope for being stuck in a shitty body and I decided to get physiotherapy and start lifting so I can be able to do the things I dreamed of IRL instead of putting it down on paper.

What did you do specifically that you couldn't before lifting?

>> No.6785818

>>6785815
I don't mean specifically fighting lions or whatnot, I meant doing "manly" things in general. For me even things that people encounter IRL like moving furniture or your example of cutting trees I couldn't do before, I had (still partially have) a spine issue shutting down most of the strength and coordination to the right side of my body and hated myself for it.

In my case it's mostly because I really hate coom art, and that extends to music as well. Also unfortunately I spent 9 fucking years wasting my time playing wow so I'm familiar with fantasy type stuff, with warriors cleaving shit down you know

I know that feeling man, the term "digital crack" describes it perfectly. I picked up drawing previously as a way to try to wean myself off of it.
>>6785823
I don't draw anymore. I didn't really have any vision for what I wanted out of it. It was all cope in the end for me and as soon as my body started showing signs of healing I started spending more time doing outdoor activities and meeting other people.

when i was younger and drew every day, yes... it was seeing myself getting better and just seeing what kind of random weird shit i can draw. now that im older and have been out of practice for some year, i just want to be able to push myself to draw 1 day a week.

I get energized every time I see my progress in the drawing and I know that I am closer to reaching the level I want. My goal is to draw like nii manabu or mika pikazo.
The problem is when I don't see progress and I get depressed and stop drawing for months.
