Michelle is a girl who is about 20 years old. She is 5'7-5'9" tall, skinny, but quite fit. She likes to running in the evenings and if she needs somewhere. This is her habit since she lives on the outskirts of her city.
She is quite poor, but earns money playing in local bars/bands playing bass (Ibanez gsr180). She can also play the piano and a little bit of acoustic guitar.
Michelle doesn't have many friends because people don't trust her, sometimes they can't know for sure if she's lying to them or not. Trying to be more sociable, she may behave a little awkward. She is honest and tells the truth, even if someone can get angry on her.

Milo is a 16 year old boy, short (5'0-5'2"), energetic, not concentrated and impulsive. Lives in a christian family where he is the only child. They are quite strict and conservative. He has an uncle who is has his own bar where he works by himself. Milo sometimes spends his time in there.
Absolutely does not know how to play any instrument, but wants to learn this in any way. He cannot focus on basic things and understand how it works, even if something starts to sound better. Has an acoustic guitar, on which he tries to play something, but most of the time it looks like some kind of noise.
Lives near the center of the city. Near the park, he sometimes feeds pigeons and ducks.

I'm happy you like it! Your characters are kino.

I'm fine with either of these two! They're young men apart of an organization akin to social workers, and travel around their assigned region interacting with people and sometimes dealing with enemies.

The left one is Klemen, who loves all manner of birds, and spends his free time stalking them. The one in WIP hell on the right is Finlinn. When not working, he likes cooking and complaining. He avoids preparing wildfowl.

Loy Loy (or just Loy) was once a normal person until she decided to hop a universe. Now she has to cast spells on the moon to survive since it creates a protective aura around her (at the end, she sucks out the life energy out of the moon sending it crashing down to earth)

Here’s a new one from me, I based him off my old windows 7 Dell laptop, like the image says, he’s willing to help with anything his owner asks for as long as it’s not harmful, he does however not really understand older computers were a little sucky

Making an OC is really just taking the things you like and making a character out of it. What makes an OC "original" is that you created it, not that it was never done before.
What genres/themes/fashions/eras/etc. do you like? What about hairstyles or personalities? The world is your oyster, and the only thing that will really screw you over is trying to make an OC for anybody that isn't yourself.
In short, make something you love enough to get really autistic about drawing over and over again.

My suggestions which you need not listen to: add a segment of armor with spikes mimicking the spikes on the mace.. like side of the knee armor, or one segment of the paludron, even the knuckles of the gauntlets or vambraces, just a little segment you do not have to make the armor completely spikey. And it doesnt have to be symetrical
Add some trim so the armor to add more DRIPP.
Like yellew paint or gold trim on the edges of the plates mimicking the hair colour. For example brestplate edges, or even just one part of the breastplate .
Or add a trim to undercoat . Maybe heraldry painted on or reliefed into the armor or as a part of the undercoat.

Don't pay attention to anatomy. Give her massive perky boobs. Her profile should look like a capital P. Also rather then having her be scantily clad have her just wear form fitting clothes. Think turtle neck and pencil skirt or better yet a body bodycon dress. Also make her hips wide and her waist relatively narrow. Not super tight, just the kind of figure egirls morph their photos to to match.
Also make her easier to draw by either having her hair cover one or both eyes.
Once you've got that design down, make a new twitter account, post a decent drawing of her making a peace sign and caption it hello twitter or some shit. If the algo hits you'll get 20k followers in a week.

Really cute. As a suitfag, I wanna get on your case a little bit. Most places that require you to wear a suit are also going to require leather shoes; oxfords, loafers. Not sneakers. You should also take a look at some lapels; they typically flare out from the neck and then back in after the notch. There's a lot of neat details you can incorporate from classic menswear, so i encourage you to look into it. As recompense for my autism I will draw something after work.

Fun fact: I decided to draw your character because he reminded me of "Willem Dafoe with two oranges" (especially his hands), and that's why I drew a pipe instead of a cigarette.

Ok now remember you asked for this, lore dump imminent.
I never talked to anyone as extensively about this as i am about to now because none of the ideas i'm about to talk about are complete or set in stone. i don't even have a name for alot of the concepts i'm about to talk about.
Pic related is a sketch i did right now in about an hour just to help you visualize the things i'll talk about, it all looks alot cooler and more detailed in my brain.

Alright, so the setting is millennia in the future.
Humanity has reached its evolutionary apex, and the cost is sacrificing all of humanity for the sake of one man to ascend and basically become God.
we'll call him the Journeyman for now.
The Journeyman can do whatever the hell he wants, so he chooses to build a space ship and explore the universe just to satiate his curiosity (the journeyman goes on a journey haha).
after several milennia he decides he got bored and thinks to himself "yep, i've had my fill, let's call it a wrap." so he puts a plan in motion to instigate the end of the universe.
he will accomplish this through simple accelerationism. he will cause the universe to expand to the point it breaks apart and gets torn open like a cloth.

How he'll go about this is by sending "seeds" called Seeds of Closure (pictured) to different planets, once they implant themselves they will takeover the planet and turn it into a living organism, let's call them daughters of god for now (yes i know it's not meant to be subtle, the planet = egg, the seed = sperm, i want it to be obvious). the seed accomplishes this by taking up the planets ressources and generating flesh, cells, nerves, etc. the white immune cells resemble nightmarish deep sea creatures. because the evolution of the process mirrors the evolution of life on planet earth, simply because the journeyman is an earthling and his powers are limited only by what he can imagine and conceive of.

Now even though this process sounds invasive and scary, the seed of closure also telepathically communicates will all the inhabitants of a planet and rarely results to outright violence, that's why the final evolution takes the appearance of a gentle woman. the assimilation of the planet is painless, there is great joy in being connected with the journeyman. Existence is suffering and he will painlessly rid them of it it basically blackpills an entire planet into allowing itself to be assimilated.

Now this is all well and good, until one of the seeds fucks up and lands on planet Tehran. An incredibly hostile and barren planet. populated by Primordial Tehranites (pictured). who are a species that look like a nightmarish amalgamation of nerves and industrial structures. they are hyper intelligent (and thus immune to the seeds telepathy), and are only driven by Hunger to assimilate anything they come to touch with, in a process very similar to what the seed of closure does to a planet. leaving their planet barren after efficiently eating up all it has to offer and the tehranites incredibly hungry.

and then out of nowhere the dumbass Seed of Closure lands in Planet Tehran and starts generating flesh and creatures out of thin air, essentially a buffet for the tehranites to consume.

it tries to reason with them for centuries, but nothing works, every time it extends its tendirls throughout the planet they get swiftly consumed by the tehranites; who start slowly taking a more humanoid form the more of the seeds extensions they consume (something something being created in gods image metaphor ). one of them consumes an entire Vertabrae and becomes the tehranite queen.

it has no choice but to result to violence. it creates "ganglions" in the depths of the sea of the planet that generate large amounts of "immune cells" who are giant hyper aggressive Deep Sea Creatures called Heralds of closure. they are sent to eradicate to the tehranites.

They lose miserably.

Thanks to the queen organizing and strategizing their offenses and defences the tehranites consume the fuck of the new Giant heralds. and they get their powers in the form of powerful symbiotes. Becoming the Second generation Tehranites (pictured)000
Now, at this point they're basically vicotrious and could just kill the seed and call it a day, but as i said they are hyper intelligent. they realize if they kill the seed its bye bye for their buffet.

This is where you come in. you are a new recruite for this corps and you hunt large sea creatures. as far as my game is concerned this is all you need to know to have fun :)

My scanner took a shit and my camera is all i got so pic is a bit distorted, not a lot but proportions are a bit off.
For armor for anne you could look up brigandine which varies from a vest with relatively small plates to a pseudo plate armor with a total of 8 ish plates that are made in the shape of a full metal breastplate. Brigandine can be quite colourfull.
2 main plate armor fashions are gothic, and italian. Gothic has ribs and points, while italian has asymeyric shoulders(left one being used for defense so it is larger) , smooth plates .
>this is vera,she quiets down echoes of the dead and their "mini realityes " which are accessed through rituals, because some group is using the mini realities" and their loops of events for some unknown purpose , also occasionally prevents leakage into normal reality. She does not work alone , there is also George and Gus

So, for a few years I've had this character of mine, Taya.
She has many family members, most of which I've never drawn before; at most her dad once and her older sister as a background character (top left in pic).

Then a few months ago I was sketching without any commitment and Alaïsa's design was born, she's one of Taya's younger sisters.
Since then I've drawn her a lot and she's already a properly fleshed-out character.

However, yesterday I suddenly had the inspiration I've been waiting for a long time. I just sat down to mass-designed her entire family.

Here they are, thoughts?

No clothes yet because I'm slow and a wardrobelet, but here's a little lore about each character:

- They live in a farm, everyone contributes labor when they're home;
- Ätamo is a border defense guard, travels often to the kingdom walls;
- Fiala is qutie well-educated. Works as a jewel smith;
- Lantiel, the graceful eldest sister. Spends half of her time in the city, as an apprentice of a craft I haven't decided on yet. Waits tables to afford her stay. She is betrothed to a knight who is out on a highly difficult mission, they promised to marry once (if) he gets back;
- Fultöh (blonde, mustache) has a wife and recently had his first kid. Perhaps a woodworker;
- Antalmo (brown hair, mutton chops) has a mining business, quite a technological pioneer;
- Taya adventures freely through the wilderness in order to gain experience, wishes to become a guard like her dad;
- Alaïsa is not old enough to be allowed the same freedom, so she's always begrudgingly helping at the farm and practicing combat by herself. Makes escapades into the woods and fight some goblins or boars. Quite skilled at farm work, especially dealing with animals;
- Pontah is permanently deaf due to a plague that attacked the kingdom when he was a baby. Mostly communicates through gestures. Interested in the arts, carries a stash of paper around to communicate when important and to take notes;
- Kilala is a very sweet, well-mannered girl. Very attached to Antalmo, small animals flock to her;
- Fuilä and Esmel are babies, not a lot to say.

The idea is that they didn't have a farm at the beginning, that was a reward for the dad's military service.
So while he was out skirmishing, Fiala was still under her parents' tutelage for a few years. Not that you couldn't get educated before 16, just read a lot.

There is a stillbirth between the eldest daughter and the twins, which I guess I could place between the twins and Taya instead so I can make Lantiel 2 years younger, which would give the mom 2 more years of focused education, but the stillbirth is more relevant as the loss of their first son.

The daughter being the smith isn't a bad idea, gotta find something useful for the mother to do while she's unfit for farming during the many pregnancies. Maybe simply weaving. Or vice-versa. Woah, that's a lead, thanks.

Not a lot within the walls of the kingdom, these are rather peaceful times, especially in the Northwest where they live. Most conflicts still going on are in the South (where Lantiel's knight has been sent to).

But the wilderness has lots of untamed fantastical creatures, tribes of smart creatures like minotaurs, etc.

What an infectiously handsome face! I love his little smirk expression. And his hair looks tasty, like cotton candy. The biggest issue imo that It ooks like a demonic fish rather than an insect. And it's too busy in general like you drew it to test your ability to draw complex characters rather than drew something meant to be drawn more than once. Even the pic with the flyswatter omits half the details indicating you thought you overdid the oc. It's not a bad oc pre say but the if you were to reduce the oc to a silhouette you wouldn't be able to make out anything. Just my two cents.

Thanks for your thoughts, I appreciate it. About looking like a demonic fish, could you elaborate what features that made you think so? She's based on an insect that resemble fish, so that might be why that happened. And you're spot on about the complexity part, I'm just not entirely sure how I should go about simplifying her design. I'm also working on another oc that's an arachne and have same issue trying to keep it simple despite the many legs and features spiders have.

Really, this was Jeremy, basically a 13 year old autist whose basically anomalous so to speak? Anyway uh to put it simple my character is Jeremy, a 13 year old (possibly on the spectrum) whose basically a mess what with himself, but makes up for it/himself with at least a good potential self. He has a cool family: a nice old grandpa and what not, and I guess potentially a brother or so?

Really I say considering his bad physique, he's clothes are weird looking on him what with being baggy and all. He's got nice boots to stuff his...jeans? Sweatpants? whatever, he stuffs the bottoms in there. He wears maybe something of a t-shirt, something good but idk what for now.

His hair would be long and kinda cool looking, some part of it covering his right eye what with the long-yest of it.

I took a stab at your oc. I dont mind the complexity of her, but like one of the other anons said, she doesnt com across as a silverfish. I see her more as heavily armored, tanky crustation like a lobster as opposed to something as quick and skittery as a silverfish. If your aim was to be tanky, then i think you did a great job. I just wanted to see what i would have done with your base idea. For what its worth though, i think she looks real cute. I hope you like it, even if not exactly as you designed it.

Don't worry anon, I love your interpretation of my oc! Yeah I kinda wanted her to be a bit tank like, the main idea was that her exoskeleton could be made of armor or something instead of her just wearing the armor, making her a bit more strong and durable. I like what you did, making her more silverfishlike while keeping her cute expression. Considering what other anons also said, I should go back and try making her more silverfish like by toning down the tankiness and complexity of her design and making her look more agile.
