So much negativity on this board. Yes, skill isn't the only thing, and that's good, it means a robot won't be mogging you in a year.
Artists are successful in a number of ways, usually by finding out what is unique about their work. Find an angle and build a brand around it. An ffs enjoy it, art is supposed to be fun.
