I just want to say that It doesn't matter how much effort or little effort, 4channers keep telling me my art is ugly.

I've drawn pretty much every day since April 2005 and did fundies between 2005-2016.

Doesn't matter if I spend 3 days on a piece.
Doesn't matter if I spend 16 hours non stop on a piece.
Doesn't matter if I spend 5 hours on something.
Doesn't matter if I spent 15 minutes on something.

It's not a matter of fundies.

Doesn't matter if I draw 100% from imagination.
Doesn't matter if I use anime reference.
Doesn't matter if I make my own 3D reference to trace.
Doesn't matter if I use photo reference.
Doesn't matter if I also trace photo reference.

Doesn't matter if I use 3D tricks to check for composition, proportions, color pallethe.

Doesn't matter I've read art books and art courses on video for 19 years.

It simply doesn't matter.

ugliness is not a result of lack of fundies. its lack of appeal. There are plenty of render gods and constructoids that draw ugly, but have ten times the technical skill of someone whose popular but draws anime girls.
What you need to do is enjoy what you draw, and draw things you enjoy. Then you will have won. For your drawings are beautiful to you.
