Apparently glaze is just adding noise to an image? Can't I do this in my program of choice?

Idk, can you?

>just adding noise
You have no idea what this actually means.

Very efficient at killing bots that scrape pixiv/boorus and dont give a fuck on what they are actually stealing.

The best part is I dont have to. AIfags will spam upload their own AI slop themselves and thus poisoning their own dataset wells.

It poison the Data well.
Normal noise already fuck up The database but they developed a bot to remove it. Glaze's noise are random and harder to remove so they have to spend extra time.
My globohomo coutry already block Glaze website to support AI shit. It is the best protection tool for now. Expect they will pull the trigger on developers.

It's extremely efficient, I've been using it on my art and no one has stolen it so far.

Has anyone tested it for themselves? Like attempting to make a lora with a set of images and then repeating it with that same set except glazed?

They LITERALLY have an faq on their site answering this exact question

Just glaze your art with a screentone anon. Ai can’t replicate screentone.

I think it works similarly to an adversarial attack, using not just random noise, but a carefully crafted pattern that fools the machine's vision. See this video for explanation (https://youtube.com/watch?v=AOZw1tgD8dA))

I hadn't heard about this tool before. I think I will be using this, thanks for posting about it. I was expecting to find out that this is a subscription based service, but no, the authors really seem to care about the issues facing artists and have made it free and not server-based.

how come he can draw fucked up scribbly lines and it looks way better than my carefully placed lines with precise thickness that follows all the fucking lineart rules

Because you carefully placed them in the wrong spot.

Yet I can trace a 3d model pixel perfect and it will look like shit. Tracing is literally putting the line in the optimal spot.

>> No.6778254

How good is glaze? Will it fuck up your image? Is there also any other tools to fuck over the AI tards in development? I heard that just putting your signature also cause alot of trouble for them.

If it's the right spot it will look good.
If it's the wrong spot it will look bad.
If it looks good it's in the right spot.
If it looks bad it's in the wrong spot.
