I have all the tools I need to start drawing but I also tend to think about 3d modeling. It's probably just a fleeting thought because 3d modeling is novel like how anything new is novel. I don't think I should be having these thoughts, it's like looking at something you should not be looking at if you catch my drift.

3d modeling isn't novel, people have been sculpting masterpieces in 3d for thousands of years. 3d modeling on a computer is the same as digital 2d art, just another medium that will only be gone when the next big cme fries a the computer chips. Listen, child... People like you were calling papyrus scrolls and ink "novel" 4000 years ago. In 20 years we'll have 3d printers the size of skyscraper cranes, printing houses and roman Greco sculptures all day.

I am in the same boat. Looking at ink wash and oil pastel mediums whereas I know I suck haard with then and have no idea what Im doing and what I should do would be to master pencil first.

Maybe have some fun but only after you did your daily drawing.
