Lol that rib cage is way too big. I guess he forgot that there’s supposed to be muscles, fat, and skin on top of it.

exclusively draw anorexic bitches so all you have to know is a skeleton

It really depends on what you are trying to draw. The more realistic you want to go, the more anatomy knowledge you need if you want to draw anything from imagination. Otherwise you must rely heavily on references.

If you aren't drawing realism, but instead stylize your stuff (cartoon/anime stylization), then you don't need to go this in depth with the details, but the basic gist stays the same, yes.
Knowing proportions and important anatomy landmarks is what you want to internalize most.

You are supposed to be seeing your mom as a trans dad, schizo.

So how are you supposed to go from drawing just 2 boxes and connecting them to this?

I don't think all this is needed. If it was, then it stands to reason that all good artists can draw this if asked. But that's clearly not the case.

Chest box , mark abdomen the way you want to. Pelvis box. Fill the box with something that marks out the shape of the rib cage + clavicle, humerus scapula (shoulder) . Add muscles, if you need more detail look for insertions and do specific studies.
Example: you have the spina scapulae(spine of the shoulderblade which is a long ass "ridge") cranially/above it the traps connect to da scapula and end at the clavicle humeral connection just above the humerus. The middle head of the delts also starts there(scapuloclavicle connection) , the rear delt head starts below (caudally) of the spina scapulae, the front delt head starts around the middle of the clavice . All 3 heads end 1/3 of the way down the humerous at its most sideways/lateral side) but most in angles it seems shorter then that because the upper part of the forearm brachioradialis muscle, the biceps insertion into the forearm , the acromion process (elbow bone if i got it right) create the illusion of a longer upper arm, also the biceps, brachialis and triceps cover up the delt insertion into the humerus from most angles. You can go on and on , study , try, pyw for criting, get a new asshole torn open , repeat

The male picture:
The first is just a simplification that you can use to turn in space. The second is two show the panes of the body for shading, and then all the others are just explaining the anatomy.

The female pictures:

It's more of the same but showing and explaining differently.

There a different versions of the planes of the face and body.

The Asaro head actually shows two different versions of the planes of the face. The right side is more simple than the left side. Also, the left side has the eye close.

According to the instruction booklet for the Asaro head, you are supposed to pick the side of the Asaro head that most resembles the face you are looking at.

Yes. You must go through all 6 stages before adding clothing and some gesture. Do not screw up or else. I mean it. Do NOT screw that up.

It's anatomy for *sculptors*, anon. The draftsmanship in the book leaves a lot to be desired.

Your "sketch" is just a plan. Line (gesture) becomes shape (two-dimensional) becomes form (three-dimensional). Will Weston talks about it a lot. Just steal a process from a better artist and apply it to your work.
