Don't take long breaks and keep going back to the basics
and take notes of the most important things you've learned so far I guess

that's the problem with drawing as a hobby when you have lots of responsibilities
you really have to make time to draw every day otherwise you start forgetting things
that's why pros still do figure-drawing exercises every fucking day
