Anons, this is it. I refuse to go deep in learning anatomy, i'll study basics but that's it. And I'm using these 3d models for every characted I draw, but will it eventually get me to the point where I can draw proper body without tracing it from model? I think it's possible.

Using reference becomes so much easier when you know what's under the skin.

You're crippling yourself by refusing to learn. Good luck.

If you trace you'll only get better at tracing.

/beg/s treath anatomy like it's a big fucking deal but like 70% of it is just knowing how to box the body
Like, it's all construction and then putting the muscles on top or reduccing it a little.

Breaking news: someone on the Internet is realizing that anatomy is essentially an /int/ topic, and that deep anatomy is a /pro/ slash /fringe/ topic.

Congratulations!

It will look like shit. Trust me. I did this
I now only use them if I'm struggling hard on a pose in a comic panel or as a genuine reference

how come though? I'd say it's true if I was drawing realistic humans, but if i'm just drawing hentai, considering that anime anatomy is already fucked up enough, do i really need to know how muscles, bones, etc really works?

try to find models that seperate the muscles or color them. Or else you won't know what all those contours and bumps are. Trust me, its really important.

I'll look into that, thanks

You're going to get good at drawing those models, is what you're going to draw. This works if you're doing something like a simplistic comic, but anything past that and you need to start understanding how muscles work.

I was going to type a paragraph for you but I think it's best for you to go through your own trials and fall on you face as to gain experience. Never tamper with the matrix I guess.

You're kidding, right? Hentai puts even more emphasis on anatomy. It's literally the subject of hentai.

>inb4 there's plenty of hentai with shit anatomy

Sure, but is that really what you want to aim for?
