Every time I make art my life gets worse, I don’t want to do it anymore. I think I made enough.

another victory for ai

Do You think your art will become more valuable now that you're not doing anymore of it?

that's fine hoss, enjoy your retirement. my idea of retirement is making art every day.

>retard copies ai slop
>hurrrrr why art get worse durrrrrrr
you can barely paint, relegating yourself to a skill monkey position is the worst thing you could do

Why are you accusing him of copying ai?

I have no idea but it seems to be going that way which is part of why I’m stopping. Too scared to continue…

I dont see the issue with him doing that. It's turning the generic into something creative.

>doing the monkey work of smearing paint on canvas while a machine decides the composition
that is the opposite of creative, retard

I literally just typed trad ai in the archive, moron, it’s not ‘98 anymore, screenshots take 2 seconds

Yes, but it was a self inflicted wound. I always said using ai would stifle your development, but I didn't think it would also put the flame right out. Use ai at your peril.

Congrats! Happy to hear that you made enough selling your paintings to retire. What will you do next?

Also, this is going to be like when micheal Jordan retired 4 times. I’m sure you’ll be back.

haha, I remember a while back reading a reddit post by you spouting the regular bullshit how AI is jus le tool and we need to adapt with le times.
Meanwhile I've been saying this well before Dall-E 2 became public: AI is inheretly anti-art and poison to any artist who employs it. The artists who will survive this are the ones with principles, the ones who value the purity of their art. Those with a grift mindset will succumb to the promises of AI and get washed away, through their own greed and irreverence for the craft.
This whole thing is a baptism of fire. The wheat will be separated from the chaff.

That has absolutely nothing to do with why I’m stopping lmao. Part of it is I haven’t found a way to do it without constantly improving. My talent is constantly shifting forward and I just want to stay in one spot for a while. I don’t want to keep getting better at this, it alienated me from everyone else, it made me a freak show because not only is my art incredibly sellable, expensive, and amazing, but most people I meet in public can’t even tell I’m an artist until I tell them because I’m not dressed like a retard covered in tattoos. I’m tired of it
