Is pinepage a honeypot?
I've been making Chudjak memes for several months (mostly classical art parody) and I've been thinking about making an account there. My concern is that those who fail to see the irony in my cartoons (God knows there are too many seriousfags who only see memes as propaganda) will try and get me in trouble because of their knee-jerk reaction to seeing a swastika, a happy merchant, a transgender caricature, white supremacist symbols, etc. PinePage looks like a good, non-pozzed alternative to platforms like Patreon. Should I trust them? If not, is there a trustworthy website where I could publish my shit and get donations without fear of being banned/deplatformed/doxxed or even arrested?
I will post a few of my drawings and tracings to showcase how they might be a bit too controversial for woke-aligned websites.

I am, but lots of anons asked me if there was any way to support me financially. And some people have started claiming ownership of my stuff by copyrighting it, hence why I've started considering opening an online page to post the new ones on.
But you're kinda right in the sense that it feels I would be failing the anons who inspired me -like whoever made picrel, and didn't try and get any recognition for it-. I guess I'm too much of an attention whore to be fully committed to pure 4chan OC mentality.

Bluntly there isn't much irony to be seen in your drawings, your drawings just seem like classical art pieces turned into /pol/-tier (or s*yjak.p*rty) propaganda.
People will definitely recognize it as parodying classical art piece, but they'll also think its just mean to be alt-right propaganda.

From what I see in all these drawings, the chud character is uniformly depicted as this masculine and heroic figure, despite not being that good looking. He's depicted in a almost purely positive light.
On the other hand, the libs and transgenders are uniformly depicted as loathsome caricatures, basedjaks, basedjaks, and troonjaks.


While it's more creative than the average wojak meme, it just seems like a slightly better drawn version of /pol/'s political memes.
There's nothing there that makes it clear you are satirizing /pol/ or rightwing beliefs in general.
Compare it to something like kelly from the onion, or yoloswagstudios who are pretty clearly satirical.

If I were to guess, it's that the ideals and fantasies of the Chud are absurd, grandious and narcissistic. Nobody he is killing or fighting ever gets a non-grotesque depiction. If anything we are getting the message that chud is repulsive but pales in comparison to his victims. I think the creator's values are very obvious. Political extremists are vicious about in-fighting anyway so portraying the swastika-clad chud as dysgenic can still be done from a far-right position, and this sanitizing effort predates the use of this style of meme, e.g. the early alt-right attempting to distance itself from well-labeled larping political groups. Again, I think where our "artist" succeeds here is transgression and he is getting responses accordingly, but any effort to shrug this off as being apolitical is nearly a decade too late.

Painting the ugly, the evil, the unspeakable in a heroic fashion (while still acting true to his character) IS the grotesque, in a sense. Depicting the loathsome Chud as a virtuous protagonist is precisely why the caricature is funny, in the same manner as the tranny being painted as an absolute abomination. Quite the opposite, irony and parody have become stronger and more effective than ever before, it's just now that the general audience and most people are either low iq, underage and so stuck up their own worm infested rectums that they put their own feelings and ego above everything else.
The crucial difference between satire/parody/irony is that at the end of it no one lost their job or their life and no one really hates anyone else as to go out of their way to kill them while also pointing out absurd facets of reality yet true nonetheless, unlike trannies who pretend to be teenage girls on social media and spam porn to lure kids unto their discord channels and groom them to become some faggot like them and make people lose their jobs and their livelihoods because they won't allow their pre-pubescent children to have sex with 40 year old males in women's dresses, that's why they deserve every bit of hate and disgust they get.

The use of irony as a barrier is why it has become weak and people are more likely to lash out or not get the joke. Fediverse sites being decentralized as they are allows for spaces more friendly to OP's style to exist easily. Each instance functions as a separate community, so one doesn't have to stay around people they don't jove with. There are instances with both extremes available to people who want it.

Of course the real issue is that mastodon, and decentralized SocMed in general tend to have very small user bases. The biggest instances are still much smaller than 4chan, and mastodon provides tools to allow instances to cut each other off. Fediverse sites work in a way most people now are not used to, so it's honestly a bit difficult to explain it.
