AI art NEEDS to be BANNED even the so called "ethical" AI which can still create near 1:1 copies YOUR OWN WORK! Even besides that there needs to be a limit what going to be automated! People are going to lose jobs and income becuase of AI art and that alone should be enough to BAN IT!

What's the point of this? AI steals from artists so why not steal from AI? Don't even prompt, swipe that shit from /sdg/, it has no copyright. Since most of it has shitty inaccuracies if you're a good artist you can correct it and make it your own style

I don't think coping and tracing is problem. I think the speed and production rates of AI is a problem. Even when tracing a human gonna spend probably the whole day for only 1 picture, while only one AI can make thousands pictures a day. The same goes for the "you just bad artists" argument. Even if you are the god of art itself, you can't compete with machine speed.

Why do AIshills hate artists so much? I see them always talk about how artists are all elitists that gatekeep art but the worst I can remember seeing was an anon telling another anon that they don't want to be an artist, they just like the idea of being an artist. The only restriction on a persons ability to draw has been their own willingness to actually sit down and draw and I know for a fact that most of the shills are coming from /g/ so they know how to torrent books and resources. Op here I don't use glaze often because it can be a pain to apply and leaves a noticeable pattern, it's also no where near foolproof.

That being said if you chose host your work publicly online (wouldn't post any work circa 2023 imo), you should ALWAYS glaze your work. While it can be beaten the scrapers may ignore it becuase it takes extra energy to unglaze work and it's just another roadblock to the AIjeets.

AI art is inherently more creative because it's "deriving" the art styles of basically everyone BUT THEN mixing them together in a literal infinite amount of ways. Something that would take mankind, should they attempt to do such a thing(which obviously doesn't happen), centuries to do. The easiest example to understand is mixing an anime model with a photorealistic model. You'll get an "anime artist if they real" effect depending on the ratio, and it will be a new style depending on how many distinct styles you're using.

And every single prompter is an artist. They all have their own tastes and represent that in their outputs. Most of them seem to have more of a defined style than anyone on /ic/ too. Because they're actually posting work that resembles a finished product.
