You're Anon. You like to draw. One day, let's say you're forced to surrender your laptop/PC and drawing tablet, you'll only be given a dumbphone and get a 9-5 work at the local grocery store or wherever they are hiring.

You'll be allowed only one hour of internet from Monday to Friday and two hours on the weekends. If you want to draw, here's a pen and a notebook.

>How long?
From one month to six months. More time can be required if necessary. Improvements and suggestions can be implemented after the first two weeks.

How would you be able to keep drawing and improving? Do you think you will succeed in doing so? Would you consider this a good method to eliminate distractions and improve your drawing? What would you suggest instead?

I can't really comment on how long it would take to improve in this situation since, that really depends on the person. But that sounds like you'll be worse off for it. I use the internet to get info on how to deal with difficult topics for "free". Also references on certain things are super easy to find on the internet. So I wouldn't recommend it and I probably wouldn't be able to keep drawing for very long.

You need to look at other artists' work either for inspiration or observation, anon. One of my favorite activities of the day is scrolling through my Twitter feed I so finely curated to look at cool art. That said, I guess I'd do lots of life drawing. Taking pics of myself doing poses and using them as reference, drawing lots of cubes, and yada yada. But that's not any different from what I do at work.

When I was in a clinic for 2 weeks, I drew every single day for 8 hours or more and it was fun because there was nothing else to do. Theoretically, it's possible, don't waste time on useless things like we're doing now, but in practice you need to be a very strong psychologically or to be in a clinic or in a prison to achieve it.

This will never happen, but assuming I was placed in such a shit position, I would start using my funds to acquire real-life references I rely for online study. I don't know, paying someone to model for me for figure drawing or buying the physical books that I'm copying the drawings from.
That would slow down progress significantly but life isn't always fair

What you see as a huge handicap, I see as the norm.
Do this to yourself as a training regime, evolve beyond undo and crop tools and layers etc.
Modern amenities should ENHANCE you, not define you.
