it's gonna take me at least a decade to git gud, damn. Wish i liked more simplistic works, but i salivate at good anatomy, specially faces, and highly detailed backgrounds.

The way JC Leyendecker and Enoch Bolles have this real graphic shape design to their character I always found super appealing. A lot of super simple curves and rectangular/angular shapes.

I'm also very fond of really simple cartoony characters with a contrasting highly detailed element - usually their clothing. Jamie Hewlett does/did this a lot.
