Artists need to be a bit more savvy in how they introduce coom into their work, lest the coom-brained zombies eat the artist.
Sure, sex sells, and it's a weapon in the arsenal. But unless you want to be doing fetish art into retirement age, tread carefully.
Solutions could include doing a webcomic with Patreon only sex scenes, or SFW pinups with the juicy stuff behind a paywall. I've ruled out coom commissions because it sets the wrong expectations and attracts the wrong audience. I'll let the AI have it.

I will never draw or acknowledge porn of my own characters, but I tell people they can draw whatever they want, just don't sell art/merch with them.

I like drawing porn sometimes.
Coomers are just desperate for stuff of the characters they like. So they tend to be extremely grateful when you draw niche things for them. Its only bad when they start feeling entitled to it, but in a way it's just them showing how much they love your art that they are desperate for more.
