AI "art" and NLP at the moment is just iterative if-else markov chains doing applied statistics on a given dataset, which means it follows patterns other AI designed to find said patterns can and will pick up on. No many how many ways they try to hide them, a new discernible pattern will ALWAYS form. It also means artists can cloak their work with "junk data" imperceptible to humans to fuck up any model that tries to steal their work.

All social/art platforms have to do is introduce account termination for the use of AI in ToS. When they sweep through their image library and detect the use of AI in them, they can disable your account, your """artist""" handle is lost forever, you get exposed as a talentless proompter for all to see, and then you're fucked.

AI shitters get the rope.

Fascinating, but the last attempt at this I saw seemed like a sketchy cash-grab.
What prevents a redditor from screenshotting your work to make it readable by AI again? Like they’d have to be a very dedicated and persistent sperglord but AIfags tend to be one-note autists anyway.

You're saying you would add some invisible watermark to your image that would show up in AI from it trying to recreate your style? Unfortunately that's not really how it works. The dataset contains billions of images. Even a few million images adding this watermark would do nothing because there are an immeasurable amount of other factors in the noise. I don't know why you care anyway. If AI art is ugly and easily identifiable then why are you so worried about it not being identified. Plus the models are already trained. The cat isn't going back in the bag.
