I just started using it myself so I don't know much, but I like it so far. There's a rating system on art so I can see that as a turn off for begs but I think it's based. Also you have to be vetted before being allowed into the "premium" section, although anyone can post art right away. I don't know anything about the forum culture, I haven't posted in the community yet. There's no mobile app which turns zoomers away but the site's fine on mobile. Supporters are essentially just there to follow artists, but can create curated lists of their favourite artists, you could follow a supporter that have a taste similar to yours so you can discover new artists, like people that use Twitter only to retweet. And at the same time you could make it so that artists have options to manually accept if they want to be in someone's list/be "retweeted". So you can still have a bit of community and interact with clients and fans, but the focus of the website is still the art.
