Dropped this in mud while it was raining and then dumped two glasses of water on it. I'm going to see if I can glue it on some cardboard and cover the canvas in white gesso then start an acrylic painting over.

I think it's good to do. Whenever I go outside I try to draw what I see 24/7. If someone thinks it's weird I don't care, unless they are a dangerous guy or gangster then maybe I will care.

seeming as you only have a tiny bit of that left wing showing to create a bit of movement/more interest beyond the straight line line between the figures thats accentuated by the bullet fire, you could move the dragons head down not the left space a bit more but leave the right wing essentially where it is. you'd be implying the body out of frame follows that line too that'd work well for the overall composition imo.

1st time I did to wash some of it off. 2 hours later 2nd time I did it because I wanted to see how much water and friction from my hand the paper could withstand before ripping. 185 gsm is surprisingly very durable but it still withered. I don't really give a shit either way because the purpose was never the end result of the but the practice, rather have 3 shit paintings instead of 1 shit painting if I want to gain mileage.

No, ai is not there yet but I did Use ai (Topazlabs) to upscale it, ended up manually redoin all the edges on her arms and legs because they looked weird, also, ai changes the shape of things it can't understand like her bow and the originally low effort lace and reflections, I'll share a pic of the very first ai scale attempt

I really like the atmosphere, it's comfy. polish up the hands, and definitely learn how clothing folds work. when you shade think about the form and how the cloth stretches around it, or sags to create folds. don't let lack of views or attention get you down either, just focus on improving

Biggest problem you have is a lack of focus, i'm guessing you tried to do a reference to fight club? or something along those lines? i'm not sure, but what 90% of people will think when they see your piece is "unremarkably designed characters sitting down doing nothing" which isn't interesting.
Everything here is atleast above average quality though, just get a better subject next time; there's just a lack of emotion.

Work on values. Values are basically dark vs. light, and are very important when illustrating. I reccomend filtering monochrome on and off to check if a color is too dark, or if the foreground/background are overpowering eachother. Pic related is a monochrome version of your finished piece. Notice how Cynthia's sleeve kind of blends into the castle, and how the pokemon's values blend into the sky at the top-left? I reccomend making the background lighter so these characters don't have to "fight" the background to reach prominence. Hope that kinda helps.

Drawfriends, give me some pointers please.
I've already read the OP, but I don't understand shit in it because I never took an actual art class or drew past the age of 8 (my art from pre-school, my art from 4th grade, and my art now look almost identical). I want to learn how to draw, primarily vidyas and landscapes.
I've purchased an art tablet, I've bought the normalfag book "Fun With a Pencil" both out of prior knowledge and friends advice. I'm scared primarily of not being able to control linework as my hands shake like I have parkinson's, and that even the most basic concepts I won't be able to grasp for so long, that the output/work will not be satisfying.

No matter how I look at it, Pikachu's hands look so weird on my sketch. Those little arcs it has are so fucking with me. Other than that this is definitely my best and most time consuming drawing so far. Time to pick something more ambitious now, I guess.
