1. First we draw a white
dress, (the color on the
fabric in this step has
no effect on the material
we make in the later
stage. Even black and
white is fine)
2. Next we use to adjust the curve
to look like the image on
the right.
3. At this time, we get
the picture on the right,
which is very close to
the effect we want.
4. Next, we only need to
remove the parts we don't want
in the professional version,
and a laser material with rich
colors is made.
(The color change obtained by this method
is rich and reasonable because
it is arranged according to the brightness)
This is a relatively simple and
fast method, but the application of
this method is not limited to this

I know the basics already, I can draw "form" and standing figures in perspective but drawing a dynamic figure that doesn't look like a robot it's not that easy, I know gesture drawing is in part the solution but are there quick ways to draw your character in perspective without having to use cubes and cylinders?

I mean ylu definitely could just mix the shading layer with the base color if all you're doing is just adding airbrushes on normal layer mode. Highlights, just use bright white. Same deal with ambient occlusion, just use a smaller sized airbrush. Why I'm commenting this is because too many layers are a pain in the ass and will just slow down my workflow. Just lock the transparency for the base skin layer and apply airbrushes accordingly.

Krenz cushart. Pic related is an accurate representation of the angled boxes, I THINK. Yeah sorry I assumed people would Google krenz cushart cubes.

He presents 4 predefined angles to rotate boxes with which are 0° , 22.5° , 45° and 67.5°. These angles align on 4 horizontal and diagonal division on an imaginary grid like in pic related.

Please note that proportions created using this grid are WRONG! The one posted above with asian text is accurate though.

What's the point? It's an easy system to draw cubes in perspective which you then can use to construct your scene or character with more accurate proportions.

Its important to note that despite the cube being rotated, when its at those 4 angles they still cover the same surface area when projected onto a 2d surface.

This is the same concept in different verbiage. The shadow shape on a complex object is often a combination of form shadow and cast shadow edges. A form shadow is created by surfaces turning away from the light. The cast shadow is the shadow cast on a surface by another. Generally speaking and in particular regard to figure painting, the form shadow edge is almost always softer than the cast shadow edge. So if you want to make your shadow shapes look realistic, you need to include these variances.
