Yet another "how many hours to learn this" thread. How hard would it be for a beginner to learn this level of cartoonish drawing? I assume it's a bit easier to master webcomics than fine art.

it's simple but there's more to it than you might think at first glance
the important thing is the line quality, it's all freehanded and achieving lines that clean will absolutely take some time and mileage if youre starting at 0. I'd say grind some line quality exercises, study the simple shapes and you could reach it in maybe half a year at most? depending on how long you practice a day

Yeah, getting solidly constructed cartoons right is, as you say, more difficult than you might think, especially if you're wanting to have the characters in more interesting poses and angles than simply standing around in 3/4 view.
