is deviantart a good way to publish your art? i don't want to create a twitter yet because i still kinda suck at drawing so i'm only gonna post on twitter when i stop sucking. til then, i was thinking i should post on deviant art instead. beats only showing my drawings to my sister and my one e-friend. what do ya fags think?

Post everything, everywhere you can.
Twitter is for everything you draw no matter how shitty it is. Your tweets will be buried under tons of trash in a matter of minutes.
Gallery websites like dA are for finished works to have a pretty portfolio or whatever.
Don't limit yourself for no reason.

I deleted my twitter in favour of making a deviant art account but my timing was bad and I ended up not using it. There's issues with AI images burying everything and the people in charge seem very pro AI and haven't addressed it in any meaningful way. I made a newgrounds to try that instead. Personally, the attitude towards AI on deviantart makes me reluctant to publish art on it now.
