Here you go fellas, my skyrim character. Her goal is to be a hero so she joined the stormcloaks but grew kinda disillusioned with them. Despite that she's still working towards helping the good people of skyrim and vanquished any threats against them.

Her primary skillset is using heavy weapons such as greatswords, despite that she has studied in restorative magic to assist her comrades on the battlefield.

i'm not so much asking for art as I am asking for... a name. This character is one i've had for many years, but I've never really been able to come up with a name for her, for now I've just referred to her as "Blue" until I had something I'd like as a name for her.
She controls weather, is a bit of an older-sister type character. She's cool, elegant, and is the main antagonist of her story. She is the weather elemental, and is bent on killing every other elemental (she started as water, and killed air, lightning, and eventually fire) so she can absorb their powers. She's also near unstoppable.

I don't mind naming her based on her theme, I just don't have any good ideas that aren't already taken. If you know any words in a different language or an obscure name relating to weather that would sound good for her, lemme know.

Don't want to avatarfag much but I have nowhere else to ask.

I'm thinking about changing his design, need some opinions. Main idea is fantasy armor so whacky is fine but needs to be grounded enough so I can draw him fighting, usually on a dragon, not too awkwardly. I can't think of anything for the pauldrons, same with the codpiece. For the codpiece I was thinking about sticking with the original because I think it gives the shape of a mouth or face in tandem with the rest of the armor but it might be too impractical. Revamping the gauntlets, maybe leg armor and couters too. Not giving him a proper cuirass is dumb but his class has that design as an aesthetic choice to parallel a dragon's underbelly.

If anyone has ideas I'm all ears and be sure to give oc for me to draw if you give an opinion, idea or vote. Either way I'll draw some ocs ITT later as thanks.

Yeah, that's why I'm changing his gauntlets and am probably going to take stuff off from his leg armor. Can't decide on a gauntlet but I'm leaning towards 3b. Pauldrons I tried to resize and make smaller, they are there for the cape. I'm actually fine with drawing him, although his design was annoying at first I've memorized it and gotten fast at it. Drawing-wise, my concern is mostly with drawing armor foreshortened or in certain angles and perspective, I was thinking about learning modeling for that. I can imagine that when he goes through single doors he would probably have to walk sideways, kek.

I just have my own language for choosing whatever sounds please me, but you don't need to go very far, grab Latin for instance:

- Unda - wave, maybe Undula (from Undulation)
- Furia, Furore, words related to storm.
- Fulgur / Fulgura - both mean lightning;
- Fulmen / Fulmina - thunder (still thinking about storm, but that is another element, so...)
- Eluvio - Flood

The idea of storm is a good place to start because she is bringing chaos to everyone, so vocabulary related to tsunami, crashing waves, the rage of the sea, etc. that allude to the destructive power of water could be the way.

Just look at wiktionary for some interesting words and what they translate into in other languages. Then either take the word as is (accident-prone) or stylize it to fit your tastes.
For instance, if you like the fictional word "sullebe", turn it into "Sullebia" or "Sullibi" or something.

Did some redesigns of the clones. Instead of bunnies, they are now sheepies. Legs still need work though, instead of current tree trunks (since these are gonna be rigged in toonboom im still pondering best way to go about it).
Molly is a transport clone (she takes others long distances almost instantly, but she does so by cutting through hell and experiencing all the fun stuff that comes with it, in exchange for heavy payment that lets her sleep). Saddie is a killer, who is able to hijack bodies of any clone on her death (originally designed as an infiltrator leader unit, so when a clone squad goes in, theres always a head in command even if shes killed so that she could take over another). Ripley right now is strong but i havent quite figured out her power yet.

I would try to make the design a little simpler. Confine detail to fewer areas. Especially some of the lines on the arms and boots feel unnecessary and distracting to me. The gloves are cool, I especially like the second one. Out of the shoulderpieces the first look best. Very over the top but it doesn't look out of place.

Yeah I get you. I tried experimenting more, but I'ma be honest I still kept some fluting cause it might not seem like it, but originally his design was heavily based off german gothic armor which has a lot of details. I reworked the leg armor and tried to balance the fluting more so as to not have too many lines everywhere. If by boot you mean the foot armor yeah I can take away the sabatons. From what I've read sabatons are used mostly for mounted knights to protect the feet but slow down infantry, and since he fights both dismounted and unmounted either should be okay for him.

Yeah I agree the 1st matches the most, I couldn't really come up with anything to replace them anyway. They're just there to hang his cape, and to give him shape or character. I did try resizing and editing it over time because when I did a comic I had to think about drawing it from different angles and obstruction.

How are you doing this? I've wanted to get the look of DS style pixel art for a while, but drawing from actual pixels from the start feels weird. If I could just run my normal drawings through a filter and then start editing pixels from there that would be incredible
