The board has clearly gotten to a point where it's for all sorts of discussions about visual art - meta discussions, the business of art, current trends, etc - and I'm fine with that.
Agreed that threads "critiquing" AI "art" though should not be allowed, for exactly the reason you give - it's not the poster's own artwork. Meta discussion about the impact of AI on art should be fine, "post your prompts" should not be fine.

Its not just fucking AI. Its the SAME FUCKING THREADS we have on rotation all the fucking time. The first that comes to mind is "How do I draw like this?" or "What do I need to do to go from beg to this level" (posts anime porn every time). Or "Why do you draw?". A blank canvas cannot be painted by itself, the AI receives input from a person that is creating art from his liking by a process known as prompt smithing. The AI may certainly be critiqued just like any other painting and with that being said the AI may be fine tuned to meet those critiques.

Exactly. It wouldn't be a problem if a bunch of artists decided to use AI as part of the process, or just started a general for posting their prompts and outputs and discussion for the heck of it. But it's painfully obvious that the hundreds of "oh no, it's all over, art is finished" threads and the idiots playing coy going "check out my artwork :) what do you think? what do you mean it looks shit?" while posting unedited model outputs, together with the mental midgets who go "what prompt did you use?" whenever they see any artwork are all just posts made by dumb, attention-starved tourists. They neither draw nor program, they don't care about the art or the technology, they're there to waste theirs and everyone else's time recycling the exact same lines due to whatever mental illness prompts them to do so, and the moderation team does nothing - either out of incompetence, malice or pure laziness. This is why the actual users are complaining.
